El Rio Ranch
Jefferson County, OK
Here is your chance to own piece of the famed Red River. The thick river bottom timber and brush are teaming with an endless supply of game as they migrate along this corridor of wild, untouched habitat.
This diverse property starts high above the river bottom in the mesquite flats and thick crosstimbers before falling over 100' along the rocky river bluff. A food plot is strategically placed at the face of the shear cliff and is surrounded by giant Bur Oaks, Pecans and Black Oaks. Thick swampy terrain takes over providing plenty of ideal waterfowl habitat with potential for further impoundment. Additional food plots and feeders can be found hidden amongst the diverse bottomland habitat. Finally a line of ancient Cottonwoods lead onto the sand bars of the Red River, which has over 3/4 mile of frontage.
An extensive system of trails and roads provides excellent access for UTV's or equipment for planting and maintaining the food plots. In addition to the many sloughs in the bottom, two small ponds can be found nestled against the 45 acre wheat field above the bluff. There is also an a large wooded creek draw that would make an ideal location to build an 11 acre lake and several other locations to build ponds.
There is a lodge located about two miles away that is included with this ranch, if wanted. It sleeps 10 and has a complete deer processing area with walk-in cooler.
